All Ways Caring HomeCare Regional Vice President Lisa King has been inducted into the Hall of Honor as one of the 24 inductees in the annual McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards program. Representatives from the home care, senior living, and skilled nursing sectors celebrated the honorees at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 15, at the JW Marriott Chicago.
The Hall of Honor category recognizes women who hold positions equivalent to vice president or higher and have made a significant impact on their organization or industry.
Lisa King, All Ways Caring HomeCare contributes to #McKnightsWOD panel: The long-term care workforce shortage: Surviving and thriving. “The workforce is very diverse; there are multi-generational people interested in our industry. We have to provide what each of those generations might be looking for. I say to our team, ‘You have to go out and find them.’ #COVID stopped us from being out in our communities, and that’s the way you help any generation understand what we do, the importance of it, and why they should come work in this industry.”
